My experience as an EMDR therapist specializing in complex trauma over the past 20+ years has given me the opportunity to get a clear look into the healing process. I was inspired to create Breathing and Becoming as a place where I can not only offer the wisdom of a seasoned therapist but also honor the need for soul work and community as part of healing.
I offer stand-alone breathwork sessions and group sessions both remotely and in-person, as well as one on one coaching for those who are looking for an opportunity to go deeper.
Breathing and Becoming is a place where breath and movement become a bridge and coaching creates communion, a place where you are welcomed home to yourself.

What is Soma+IQ™ Breathwork?
I utilize Soma+IQ™ Breathwork as the primary tool In Breathing and Becoming Breathwork sessions. This is a variety of breathing techniques used to identify, process and release stored emotions, tension, stress and trauma in the body while regulating the nervous system.
What happens during a breathwork session?
During a session we will talk briefly about what to expect and move to identify your desired result (for example, to release something or discover something).
We then use various breathing techniques to activate the nervous system just enough to allow stored stress, anxiety, and emotions to arise. We utilize the breath, sound and movement as pathways for liberating those stored emotions and to soothe the nervous system.
I will be guiding you the whole way as you safely remain in the space of a yoga mat.
Who is Breathwork for?
My breathwork offerings are for everyone, no matter where you are in life or in your healing process. However breathwork is not recommended if you are pregnant or have certain medical conditions.
